Please join us for the second annual MilwauCHI Networking Event. This years’ event will feature:

• Job openings. Local businesses who are looking for usability and related talent. Bring your resume and talk about your experience with Fiserv, and others.
• Short, dynamic discussions facilitated by local User Experience (UX) specialists, who will engage you with lively interaction and intriguing content. Topics this year include Communicating Visually with Ron Sova (Sova Consulting Group) and Mobile User Interfaces: a Roundtable on testing and prototyping with Ryan Thamerus (Fiserv) and Roger Theodos (FIS Global). Bring your mobile devices and share your ideas.
• STC. The local chapter of the Society for Technical Communicationwill be joining us to provide information about their upcoming activities and exciting opportunities.
• Door Prize. Colin Ware’s book: Visual Thinking for Design. Drop your business card into the jar for a chance to win.
• General networking. As always, you will meet and be able to exchange ideas with interesting people who share your interests.

Centare will host the June meeting of MilwauCHI.

The meeting will start at 5:30 with networking and food consumption, followed by Deb & Ron Sova’s tutorial on the use of storyboards.

Make it your New Year’s resolution to join MilwauCHI for a Nibble and Network event on Wednesday, January 19 from 5:30 to 7:30 in the Mayfair Mall community room. Have a drink (beer, wine, and soft drinks provided), nosh on some appetizers, and hobnob with other like-minded professionals. Participate in our Idea Market, where you’ll be able to chat with representatives from top local companies and organizations about user experience, usability, and other topics of interest to the CHI community.

Directions:
Turn into Mayfair Mall using the Center Street light. Drive around the perimeter road until you get to the AMC theater. The entrance is on the first floor, under the covered parking structure. On entering the mall, look for the Garden Suites / Security Office sign—go through the glass doors and the meeting room is at the bottom of the stairs, just along the hall.
